Twiliversary 2011: State of the TWIL Address

tv2011

It’s definitely been an interesting year, with a lot of ups and downs, but I feel the TWIL channel made significant progress in spite of the issues, and I look forward to doing more work in 2012. Thank you all so much for your continued support.

Good luck in all you do. Here’s hoping you and This Week in Linux continue to succeed in 2012.

Looking forward to new videos in the new year! You’ve had to deal with a lot of crap in the past year, but I’m glad you’re still doing this and I wish the best for you and This Week in Linux in 2012!

hope you’ll reconsider doing your show, ‘cuz no one has 20.000 subscribers in the Linux world on Youtube…

    Ok, cool.
Now, Can you please talk about ioDoom3?
Make a nice report about it, it is abou Linux. ;)
    Thx.
    Happy new year.

Have you any luck with coming up with a plan to get Adsense back?  Seems to me that Google is being draconian with Adsense…just look at all the banned stories out there.

Rene, There is no plan for getting it back. With Google, if you get kicked out, you’re out for good. A lot of people have suggested just making a new email address/adsense account, but if it was that easy to get kicked out in the first place (thanks to one person…), it would just happen again with a new account, and I’m not the type to just go around the rules to get what I want.
Goals for the future involve finding new advertising for the site, potential sponsors for the videos, and hopefully pulling more traffic to the site instead of YouTube, so this can actually support itself again…
