Question of the video: Do you like the idea of Mint being a rolling release, or rolling release distros in general?

This is a great release imho, I have been using it since the day it came out as my desktop at work, not had a single issue so far.
    It’s shiny, it’s fast and it’s Debian! I love it :D

Also i really like that they have released this alongside the main edition rather than replacing main right out, a lot of people still love the Ubuntu based main ed and the Debian ed doesn’t have all the spit and polish yet, I like it but it’s good that they aren’t pushing away anyone from their current (strong) userbase.

i wish mint luck is all i can muster. ubuntu or debian. it is still linux. i just hope it is not about fear of following the mass exodus from ubuntu.

Very interesting. I may try a non-experimental version of this on my desktop, which should be a good way to see how graphics have improved in the move to Debian, since my graphics card is outdated and it had issues with the open source drivers in Ubuntu. I hope that other distros follow suit to make themselves independent of Canonical, and try to carve out their own identities.
